In efforts to increase safety, security, and comply with increased regulatory requirements, GenOn (formerly RRI Energy) contracted Intelligent Access Systems to complete an extensive project to upgrade the existing electronic card access system. Intelligent Access Systems has replaced the existing access control hardware and software with an enterprise class solution and migrated the existing card database from the previously installed access control system. The new solution provides a more robust reporting and data encryption package for GenOn. Intelligent Access Systems is proud of their ability to provide access control solutions to clients in the energy market and to assist them with complying with federal regulations such as NERC CIP.
